Farm Open Morning Saturday 13th April 2013
We’d like to invite you to our Open Morning from 10am onwards. This is primarily for Support Planners and potential Day Workers to find out what we get up to and what kind of jobs are available, but anyone interested in finding out more is welcome to come along. It is our usual monthly work day so there will be volunteers around, doing whatever jobs need doing. One job will be planting the fruit trees that people bought as Christmas presents for friends and family and in memory of loved ones.

Our first race was so successful last year we think it will be an annual event!

Hello Pam, I wish we were that experienced to be able to pass on advice. This has been our first year as beekeepers so we are just learning. Luckily we are part of Sheffield’s Bee Buddy project so we have had a head beekeeper to mentor us. We have talked about running a course at the farm with him as the tutor. If we do it will most likely be about February time next year so that it’s timed for the new season. You could always try the Sheffield Beekeepers Association for advice.
